BODY COUNT Releases New Album ‘Merciless’ via Century Media Records

GRAMMY-Award winning band BODY COUNT releases their latest album ‘Merciless‘ through Century Media, showcasing a bold and unyielding sound elevated by producer Will Putney. The album not only addresses pressing social issues but also maintains the raw energy that defines the band’s signature style. Featuring collaborations with renowned artists like David Gilmour, Max Cavalera, and Howard Jones, ‘Merciless’ propels BODY COUNT into a new realm of power and intensity without compromising their distinctive edge.

In Ice-T’s words regarding the album, he reflects on the concept behind ‘Merciless’ as a point of no return, drawing inspiration from a place of unapologetic defiance. The band’s previous release, ‘Carnivore’, earned them a Grammy for Best Metal Performance in 2020, solidifying their position as a force to be reckoned with in the music scene.

BODY COUNT’s legacy traces back to their inception as a collaboration between Ice-T and Ernie C, evolving over 35+ years to become a symbol of both reverence and intimidation. From their groundbreaking self-titled debut album to the controversial track ‘Cop Killer’, the band has continuously pushed boundaries and inspired a new generation of musicians.
