Eidola is set to release its second full-length album in less than a year, titled “Mend,” on January 17, 2025, through Blue Swan Records/Rise Records. This album marks the conclusion of the story that began with their Spring 2024 release, “Eviscerate.”
To give fans a taste of what’s to come, the band has unveiled “The Faustian Spirit” along with a performance video. According to Andrew Michael Wells, the band’s clean vocalist, “The Faustian Spirit” reflects the band’s evolution over the past decade and serves as a powerful culmination of their discography. With “Mend,” Eidola aims to push boundaries and deliver a fierce and energetic continuation of their thematic work.
While “Eviscerate” explores darker themes, “Mend” takes a different direction by delving into themes of redemption and healing set against a more melodic and uplifting musical backdrop. Produced by Stephan Hawkes and recorded in North Hollywood, California, the album promises a fresh evolution for the band.
