Lauren Babic Releases Debut Solo EP, ‘Too Much And Never Enough’

28th March 2025 marks the day Canadian alt-metal ground-breaker Lauren Babic has released her highly anticipated first solo EP. Babic, known by many for her infamous metal covers of pop songs, alongside her immense success fronting bands like Red Handed Denial, Crazyeightyeight and Skylimit, is making her mark in the metal community with her first 4 song record: Too Much and Never Enough.

Commenting on the EP, Babic states: 

“This EP has been a huge turning point for me musically and personally. I’ve been an independent artist for my whole career and this release is proof that you can do anything if you work hard, believe in your work, and carry forward with kindness. This project wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of my team and my friends, and I couldn’t thank them enough for joining me on this journey.

The EP is produced by Adam Bentley (Arch Echo, Plini) and Lee Albrecht (Hollow Front, Silverstein, The Devil Wears Prada, Archers).

Alongside this EP, Babic has also unveiled a video for “Sanctuary,” the opening track and final single of the record.

Babic adds about the new song: 

“‘Sanctuary’ is the first song on the EP, and the last song to be heard by listeners. I think it’s the perfect summary of what each song on the EP represents – melody, heaviness, fierceness, and versatility. I hope you all enjoy my EP, this is just the beginning.“

Having already generated hundreds of millions of streams across her social media channels and with a solid fanbase backing her already, Babic is poised to become one of alt-metal’s most influential new faces.
