Today we're chatting to guitarist Abel Camargo and vocalist Victor Emeka from the band HIBRIA. The band was formed in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, in 1996. Since the release of their debut album in 2004, the band has been on a journey of conquest in Brazil and around the world, touring six times in Japan and others in Canada, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Poland and the Czech Republic, appearing on stages such as Rock in Rio and Loud Park, as well as sharing shows with artists such as Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica and Megadeth. HIBRIA's track record has earned them credibility as a metal powerhouse, especially in Japan, where their releases reach the top of the sales charts, attracting press attention and filling the biggest concert halls. They have six studio albums and a live album recorded in Tokyo and also released on DVD. Their most recent release is the single Fearless Will (2019). The band has sold over 100,000 copies worldwide and is currently working on a new album for 2022.
