MUSHROOMHEAD is back with their ninth studio album, "Call The Devil," set to be released on August 9th via Napalm Records. Following the success of their previous album, "A Wonderful Life," the masked metal masters are ready to shake things up with their latest cinematic offering.
The band has unveiled the first single from the album, 'Fall In Line,' along with a music video that showcases their new masks designed by Jordan Patton and guitarist Joe Gall. The track features a mix of electro-industrial elements and haunting vocals from Scott Beck and Jackie LaPonza.
Longtime guitarist Dave "Gravy" Felton, who returns after a 12-year hiatus, has contributed his skills to two tracks on the album. The production is once again handled by band mastermind/drummer Steve "Skinny" Felton, with mixing by Matt Wallace and mastering by Jacob Hansen.
The album promises a diverse range of tracks, from heavy hitters like 'Prepackaged' and 'Torn In Two' to more experimental tunes like 'Emptiness' and 'Hallelucination.' The band's signature style shines through on every song, showcasing their unique blend of metal and theatrical elements.
"We played around with a few different album titles, and apparently ?Shout at the Devil? was already taken... so we figured we?d just try calling."
Skinny Felton
