BASTILLE: Announce intimate instore show at Kingston's Pryzm, 20th Oct

Bastille?s lead singer, Dan Smith, is set to unveil his latest collection of story songs in the upcoming album ?&? (Ampersand) on October 25th. To give fans a sneak peek into this musical journey, Smith will be hosting intimate instore performances, including a stop at Kingston?s Pryzm with Banquet Records on October 20th.

?&? (Ampersand) is a captivating project that delves into the lives of intriguing personalities from history, mythology, and pop culture. The album is a result of creative collaborations with friends and family, intricate musical arrangements, and a contagious sense of musical liberation. The album features tracks like ?Blue Sky & The Painter,? inspired by the renowned painter Edvard Munch, and his battle with depression. This uplifting song symbolizes finding light after a period of darkness. Watch Dan?s acoustic performance of the track in the Sargasso Sea, where he collaborated with Greenpeace to raise awareness about ocean conservation:

The album is divided into two parts, with the first part already released and the second part on the way. The first part includes tracks like ?Intros and Narrators,? ?Eve & Her Paradise Lost,? ?Seasons & Narcissus,? and ?Emily & Her Penthouse In The Sky.? Listen to the first part here.
