Black Sabbath announce ‘Back To The Beginning’ – Ozzy Osbourne’s Final Performance

Black Sabbath are reuniting for a one-off show called ?Back to the Beginning? at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5th. The event will feature the original lineup of Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward, who will take to the stage for the first time in 20 years.

Ozzy Osbourne will play a short solo set before joining Black Sabbath for his final performance. ?It?s my time to go Back to the Beginning?.time for me to give back to the place where I was born,? he said. ?How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.?

The show will also feature sets from other notable metal bands, including Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice In Chains, Halestorm, Lamb Of God, Anthrax, and Mastodon. A supergroup of musicians, including Billy Corgan, David Draiman, Duff McKagan, and Slash, will also perform.

All profits from the show will be donated to three charities: Cure Parkinson?s, Birmingham Children?s Hospital, and Acorn Children?s Hospice. These charities support people affected by Parkinson?s, provide care for sick children, and offer palliative care for children with life-limiting conditions.

Tickets for the event will go on sale at 10 am GMT on Friday, February 14th, and can be purchased at LiveNation.co.uk.
