One of the few negative points of this edition of Rock in Rio was at the same time Rival Sons e Living Colour both at 7pm, but we know that when it comes to a festival, this can happen.
Speaking of good things, or great things, Living Colour took to the Galp Stage with their line-up that has lasted 40 years, guitarist Vernon Reid, vocalist Corey Glover, bassist Doug Wimbish and drummer William Calhoun delivered everything and more in 60 minutes of a memorable concert! Charisma, attitude, weight and a harmony rarely seen with the public marked the presence of a band that never disappoints, hits such as ? Leave It Alone?, ?Love Hears It's Ugly Head? and the classic ?Cult of Personality? no one was able to stand still or remain indifferent to the atomic chaos taking place on the Galp stage.
Frontman Corey Glover is a force of nature, singing very well accompanied by guitarist Vernon Reid, who is another incomparable figure, and it was easy to hold the audience in his hands, especially when they covered Led Zeppelin's ?Rock n Roll? This was the final hook for a Living Colour that should be praised every day for being a band true to its origins and that presented one of the best concerts of the day!
