The Plague & AIDS were the first band to open the 10th edition of Rock in Rio in Lisbon on the Tejo stage at 3pm on time. João San Payo and his troupe kicked off the first day of the event with their well-known hardcore, and congratulations to Rock in Rio for choosing a band that represents a mythical style in Portugal, the hardcore often represented by the legendary figure of João Ribas, with a lively concert by Peste & Sida.
Playing classics such as ?Sol da Caparica?, "Paulinha" and ?Bule Bule? the band got an already composed crowd jumping. ?20 years of Rock in Rio, 50 years of democracy and 37 years of Peste & Sida history? said frontman João San Payo on vocals and bass. A more than worthy start for a band that really deserves to be in the sun.
