Even more excitement is in the air for 2025?s Slam Dunk festival, following recent additional artists being added to the original line up! It?s always best to be prepared for all aspects of festival going and as Slam Dunk sees a whopping turn out of 30,000 people at their South site and 40,000 at North in attendance, travel, accommodation and accessibility is best planned in advance. Slam Dunk festival is happening on May 25th 2025 across both sites.
Here?s some guidance around transport, accommodation and accessibility for both sites.
Slam Dunk North is being held at the usual Temple Newsam site in Leeds. It?s a 15?20-minute drive from Leeds city centre, however previous years festivals have caused much traffic getting to and from the festival site!
Transport information!
Car parks:
Car parking for the site needs to be booked in advance as it won?t be available on the day. All car parking passes are physical and delivered by post. International applications for car parking close on the 10th of May and for the UK they go off sale on the 20th of May. There are numerous car parks all with different designated colors and it?s important to take note of these before deciding where to park. Coaches: Big green coach is the festivals official ticket and travel partner for this year. They offer day return coaches for the festival. They have sustainability in mind and are very popular so the sooner you can book these the better; to avoid disappointment.

They have a new for 2025- payment plan, book at least eight weeks in advance and travel with a coach package for £1 in monthly installments interest free.
Shuttle buses: are yet to be announced.
Accessibility: for accessible customers, Slam Dunk festival offers a complementary companion ticket for those who need a companion to attend the event. There is a viewing platform at each site for access customers in wheelchairs and their PA?s. Ambulant disabled viewing seated areas for each stage are available for customers with mobility issues or ticket holders who need to be away from busy crowds.
There are a number of accessible toilets at all viewing areas as well as information points which are staffed throughout the festival. Slam Dunk has a dedicated access team onsite to assist with any queries or issues on the day.
Access customers are welcome to bring camping chairs to use in public areas safely or to bring onto viewing areas.

New for 2025- Slam Dunk are working with ?mobility hire? to provide a selection of off-road scooters and power chairs for both sites. These can be used from the start of the festival day and brought back by the end of the day. Customers are advised to please note- if you have already booked a Slam Dunk entry ticket without wheelchair platform access and then book a mobility hire scooter or chair, you will not be permitted on to the platform as platforms are now fully booked.
VIP customers with accessible needs are also advised that they do not need to complete the access form again.

Accommodation: Leeds city boasts numerous hotels, hostels and B and B?s. Some of these prices are heightened due to the festival. It is possible to also book an Air B and B outside of Leeds; depending on your mode of transport to the festival, such as driving. It is also possible to stay in a hotel, hostel, air b and b etc. along the big green coach route so there is plenty of choice when it comes to accommodation for the festival. Booking in advance is ideal when it comes to price and area of choice security.
Slam dunk South: is being held at the usual location of Hatfield Park.
Transport information:
Train: Hatfield park is situated across the road from Hatfield Train station. Trains run from central London Kings cross station to Hatfield station regularly. They can be booked on the day or in advance and the journey one way takes approximately 20 minutes.

All car parking tickets for South must be booked in advance from See Tickets. There are two car parks available to park in, both can be accessed from both directions. Full details of car parking will be emailed to festival goers once they have purchased the car parking ticket.
