Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs have exciting news for their fans. They are hitting the road in 2025 for a tour across the UK and Europe. Alongside this announcement, they have dropped a brand-new single titled “Detroit.”
The band’s latest release, “Detroit,” marks their return with fresh material following the success of their album “Land of Sleeper” in February 2023. The single is a powerful piece of noise rock that delves into themes of male jealousy and accountability.
Band member Matt Baty describes the track as a reflection on the destructive nature of jealousy and resentment, highlighting the importance of taking responsibility for one’s actions rather than blaming external factors.
To support a meaningful cause, the band has pledged to donate the proceeds from “Detroit” to domestic abuse charities in preparation for their upcoming tour. You can find the track on Bandcamp.
The UK leg of the tour will include performances at renowned venues such as SWX in Bristol, Brudenell Social Club in Leeds, New Century Hall in Manchester, and KOKO in Camden.
