Graphic Nature at Burn it Down Festival, 2024

Hailing from Kent, UK, their music is a seamless blend of Metal Core and Electronic. Nu ? metal is also an influence in their unique sound. Formed in 2018, they still have their original lineup: Harvey Freeman is vocalist, Pete Woolven and Matas Michaliovskis on guitars, Charlie Smith on bass, and Jack Bowdery on drums.

This UK band won the Heavy Music Award for the best breakthrough album, A Mind Waiting to Die (Rude Records) in August 2024. It is well-deserved as this is one of my favorite album releases of 2023.

Graphic Nature on stage radiates energy through the venue, and the audience and the crowd respond to this energy. The highlight was when Charlie Smith with his bass went into the mosh pit, he survived and returned to the stage!

In speaking with Harvey Freeman after the set, he stated that his music is a form of self-expression and hopes that Graphic Nature can raise awareness of mental health and bring people together. This is emphasized before the last song of their set, Killing Floor, when they make a speech to encourage their audience to start a conversation about mental health awareness.
