Nova twins played the iconic Omeara for BRITs Week 2025 for War Child

War Child has raised over £7.43 million since they first started in 2009. They provide protection, education, mental health support and more for children affected by war, whilst standing up for their rights. Thanks to DHL?s support, all of the £30,000 raised at the Nova Twins show will go directly towards helping these children.

The evening kick-started with Message From the Ravens, an alt-folk band from Hastings, who Nova Twins discovered while they were busking to raise money for their album. This band was nothing like any band I?d ever heard before, their whimsy tunes sounded magical whilst simultaneously being full of feminine rage. The whole venue watched them silently in awe, as if they had been spellbound under their charm.

Next up, Nova Twins took to the stage, wearing silver co-ords with butterfly patches and their new custom bass and guitar, while the crowd cheered loudly. It didn?t take long before the crowd whipped up into a frenzy of mosh pits and fans chanting all the words back to them. They got the crowd going with ?Cleopatra? followed by ?Antagonist? and then kept that energy up all night.

Nova Twins had incredible stage presence. Amy effortlessly transitioned between rap-like/ hip-hip lyrics, sung vocals and even throwing in the occasional scream here and there while Georgia killed it on bass with lots of funky tones and added effects.

They proceeded to request a ?Twerk Pit? to keep the atmosphere up. Before debuting another unreleased song off their upcoming album. ?Soprano? sounded amazing live with their complex production which maintained their distinctive sound while also allowing it to take them to new places ahead of the new era.  This glimpse into the next era got everyone even more hyped up about the new album.

The moshing continued with ?KMB?, ?Puzzles? and ?Fire & Ice?, before slowing things down a bit for another unreleased song ?NOVA? which was a hip-hop infused track that had the whole crowd chanting ?N-O-V-A T-W-I-N-S? back to them over and over again.

They played ?Undertaker? and ?Sleep Paralysis?, putting Amy?s full vocal range on display before showcasing their latest single ?Monsters? which filled the room with such a beautifully haunting yet comforting sound. They then jumped into the middle of the mosh pit with their instruments for the ultimate send off with ?Choose Your Fighter?, surrounded by their fans.
