It seems that Swedish bands dominate many of the live shows I attend in Finland, and Opeth?s performance at TUSKA was another testament to their enduring appeal across borders. As a photographer, the opportunity to capture Opeth in action from the photo pit, situated between the stage and the audience, felt like a race against time. However, with Opeth, known for their expansive compositions and frontman Mikael erfeldt?s penchant for between-song banter, there was ample opportunity to capture both the music and the moments.
