Spotlights at The Parish Huddersfield 6-6-24

From Brooklyn, New York City are atmospheric rock trio Spotlights at the Parish in Huddersfield.
Spotlights are currently on their first-ever UK headline tour. Playing a run of 7 shows over the next week before heading out with Mr Bungle. Support tonight comes from Leeds alternative rock trio Slipped Disco and local Huddersfield progressive metal collective We Are Memnor.

Slipped Disco

Alternative rock trio Slipped Disco first gathering a good size crowd to start the evening off. These guys were a pleasure to listen to. With heads bobbing throughout the crowd I would say with a tough crowd to open to Slipped Disco did well for a Thursday evening at The Parish.

We Are Memnor

Huddersfield?s own We Are Memnor take to the stage. The creativeness of this band tickles the interest of the viewer. The progressive metal collective is unique, captivating and special. With the mixture of sounds blending together with powerful vocals. We Are Memnor uses guitars, bass, drums, keys and vocals that flow well together. Adding the occasional cheeky grin between band members We Are Memnor make them a delight to watch live.

Spotlights

On to our headliners Spotlights, From Brooklyn New York. Spotlights give a powerful performance. The trio are loud and flows together well. Bringing in the head nodding, movement, and even dancing. Coming for the first time to see this band, I would assume the quiet vocals might be due to the overpowering stage sound this evening and dark lighting due to the venue?s lighting arrangement. I would happily say this wasn?t the band?s fault but it did work well for Spotlights sound and stage presents. Throughout the entire night, Spotlights fan base was keeping up with the rhythm and moving alongside the band. Spotlights have given their audience a good night to remember.

If you would like to catch Spotlights on the rest of their UK/EU tour, More dates can be found below.
