The ?Waldläufer? project was born in 2021 in light of the upcoming 10th anniversary of the death of one of the best friends of the musicians involved, a beautiful tribute to Matthias 'Waldläufer" Holzmann. The project has just released its debut single "Drunten Im Tale" on December 1st.
They have a sound that blends melodic death metal and black metal very well, with lots of guitar melody, creating a very interesting and captivating atmosphere that reminds us of the sound of extreme bands from the 80s and 90s.
The single is already available on the main digital platforms.
