Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds announce ?The Wild God Tour' in Europe and the UK

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds announce their first headline tour of the UK and Europe since 2017, with 27 shows in 17 countries this fall. The band is widely regarded as one of the best live acts in the world today, and these shows promise to be some of the most eagerly anticipated of 2024.

The tour starts on September 24 in Oberhausen, Germany, and ends in Paris, France, on November 17, with six shows in the UK. The tour will follow the release of their 18th studio album, ?Wild God?, on August 30th. The new album was announced last week along with the release of the title track.

I never think about how an album is going to work live, it never occurs to me. The process of writing lyrics is too difficult to take ideas like that into consideration. But when I listen to ?Wild God? now, I think we can really do something epic with these songs live. We're really excited about it - the record sounds like it was made for the stage. ? Nick Cave

The band will play new songs as well as songs from their extensive catalog. Support will come from one of three special guests on different dates ? Dry Cleaning, The Murder Capital and Black Country, New Road.
