Old But Gold #2 - Slayer: South of Heaven

Today we bring you a chart we did for a year on our Instagram page for our podcast, the classic Old but Gold where we review true timeless works that we never tire of hearing.

And the second episode we decided to talk about one of the best thrash metal albums in history, none other than South of Heaven by Slayer!!!!

Released in 1988, the Californians' fourth album is an abrupt and necessary change that we dissect here.

Come along and check out our unpretentious review, and if you have any tips for the next Old but Gold we'd appreciate it!

Born in Brazil and living in London, I co-founded and manage the UK and US sides of MetalJunkbox, specializing in concert photography, and promoting live events and launches by various artists. I?ve been a photographer since 2016 and I also act as the nerd of the team, taking care of the technical side of the project, and on top of all that, having the worst taste of the trio (or better)!
