For those who know me, you know that when it comes to music we at MetalJunkbox have no borders, however, I Michel, personally have a great appreciation for Japanese bands, being able to mention some that enchant me, such as, The Gazette, Dir en Grey, Gackt, X-Japan, Luna Sea, Asian kung-fu generation among others! However, now we are facing another Japanese band, a band that we can call a one man band, because we have an artistic / creative brain behind the creations of 503 bad gateway! The sound of the band is something very varied, with influences of Melodic Metal, Symphonic Metal, Glam and much more. It is important to say that with all these influences, I could not fail to say that the band manages to put all the creativity and characteristics of the Japanese rock bands that I admire so much and for that reason I say, listen to 503 bad gateway !!!

Let's talk about the latest release, the Stay Agile album! We have here an album that has 7 tracks, and we received some songs for appreciation, such as Thunderbolt, Stay Agile and Overkill. I can say that I liked the songs, there is a potential for growth and creativity here, the band delivers a sound with good influences, interesting riffs and all the sonority that we see in renowned Japanese bands. As we received some songs, we decided to listen to the album in its entirety and as a verdict I can say, there is good material here, which we expect a natural evolution, both in terms of final mixing, as well as for some parts that can be very synthetic and that in the right measure, with a more natural sound, will sound very good and will further enhance the creativity and the songs produced.
