Auld Blue Eyes - Took To The Bed / Calluses

We're flying directly to the emerald isle, Éire Land, also known as Ireland so that we can go more specifically to the city of CORK and meet this one-man band called Auld Blue Eyes!

Here we see a mature musician who decides to have his own solo project, producing, composing and singing is not something for everyone and here we have a very well executed piece of work! Intense, strong, heavy and aggressive in just the right way. The style ranges from screamo to post rock, which this writer is a big fan of.

When I heard the singles Took To The Bed and Calluses, I was certain that I should listen to the other recently released single As Above, So below, Pronto! After listening to these three most recent works by the band, I was able to get a broader view of the band's proposal. In fact, everything I had described above could be identified, felt and happily realized! One listen was all it took for me to know that I would want to consume more songs, that I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to see something new, of good quality and as pleasing as these songs. A pleasant surprise which I strongly recommend you also try out, listen to these songs and enjoy the work of Auld Blue Eyes!
