Dying Awkward Angel - Maldita Seas

The Italian band Dying Awkward Angel is getting ready to release something new, and until that long-awaited moment arrives, we're going to talk about the most recent album by the Italians, Absence of Light, released in 2018.

The single Maldita Seas presents a sound based on good old melodic death metal, with strong influences from the Gothenburg school, while at the same time flirting with traditional Floridian death metal and the thrash metal of the late 80s, this mixture together with the band's own great identity gives a very positive and cohesive result. As we can see not only on Maldita Seas but also on the other ten songs on their second album.
