With vocals from the legendary Debbie Harry, "I Will Never Stop Loving You" is a darkly yearning track that features Harry's radiant vocals dodging Taylor-Taylor's sinister growl, adding a glow to the shadows of obsession that her vocals suggest. "As dark as it is, I truly believe it represents love and what that word means to many people," he adds.
Debbie's contribution to the track is something Courtney doesn't take lightly. For an album that already features Frank Black on "Danzig With Myself" and Slash on "I'd Like To Help You With Your Problem", her presence makes it even more majestic, as NME praises it as "epic". "Debbie's voice elevated that song to a level that nothing else could have done," he explains, in awe of her vocal ability. "Listening to her, I think I learned more about singers in that moment than I have in the last 15 years... I don't know... Maybe I never did."

Seeing a recent dearth of records full of "heavy punk and metal guitar riffs", The Dandy Warhols have made their own. The result is an album that The Arts STL describes as "a kaleidoscope of sounds and styles that only The Dandy Warhols can bring with their infectious, psychedelic vibes that can't be labeled in a single genre, so don't even try". Spill Magazine praises: "ROCKMAKER embodies a sonic evolution for The Dandy Warhols, characterized by a deliberate emphasis on guitar riffs rather than chords and melodies." Vanyaland adds: "The Dandy Warhols have never been ones to go with the flow, so it's no surprise that their new album ROCKMAKER doesn't necessarily meet or exceed expectations, but sets its own standard." Downtown Los Angeles praises: "Combining psych-rock, shoegaze, power pop, synth pop and more with the cool attitude of their pop stage name, The Dandy Warhols are equally adept at deep reveries and satirical pop."
The Dandy Warhols is made up of Courtney Taylor-Taylor (vocals, guitar), Peter Holmström (guitar, keyboards), Zia McCabe (keyboards, bass, percussion) and Brent DeBoer (drums, backing vocals). ROCKMAKER is released today, March 15, 2024, by Sunset Blvd and was produced by Peter Holmström and Courtney Taylor-Taylor.
