Today our musical journey will take us to the Nordic lands of Finland! We'll be talking about the band Midjungards!!!
Here it's important to say that if you happen to be a fan of Melodic Death bands, those with strong influences of Stoner, Sludge, Heavy Metal and with excellent riffs and vocals worthy of bands of this genre, I can only say that you can't help but listen to Midjungards!
The song that introduced us to the band was Still Here. With a proposal full of attitude, weight and aggression, the band manages to deliver an incredible and very well-produced song! From Scandza To Covadonga, was the second song we heard from the band, with an introduction worthy of the soundtrack to a Nordic saga, the band manages to make a triumphant entrance, an ascent in sound full of weight, with diverse influences from Iron Maiden to other genres, all with their original and unique touch, thus demonstrating an excellent creative quality, a mark that they make explicit in their lyrics and compositions! We have here a band that shows good maturity and knows what they want to deliver, so check out Midjungards and check out their album From Scandza !!!
