Tonight at The Sold Out Manchester 02 Ritz, Set It Off is set to headline, with support coming from Tss, Call Me Amour, and Point North. The review is from the Manchester date of the tour and pictures from the Birmingham date.
Hailing from France, Tss, the electrifying modern metal band, took to the stage with a fierce presence. The darkly lit set created stunning silhouettes, adding to the atmospheric experience. The band delivered powerful performances of tracks like ?Would You Be My Therapy??, ?Someone,? and ?Killing Me,? all while energetically bouncing around the stage. Fans reciprocated by singing along to every word, swaying in unison. Their short but impactful set served as a perfect teaser of what?s to come.

There?s never been a band more visibly thrilled to be on stage than Call Me Amour. Each time I see them, they grow stronger, and their energy is contagious. Having seen them during the Fall of 2024 on the Mallory Knox Tour, they quickly became a regular on my playlist. Hearing them live only amplifies the raw, beautiful energy they bring to their shows. We were treated to a concise, four-song set, with lead singer Harry diving into the crowd to dance with fans during the second song. He also made an appearance on top of the bar during the final track, showcasing his connection with the audience. No matter where you were, the band made sure everyone felt involved. With hints of a headlining tour later this year, I can easily see their shows selling out in no time!

I?ve been eagerly anticipating Point North?s performance, and they certainly didn?t disappoint. The three-piece band kept the energy high, constantly moving across the stage and engaging the crowd. The audience sang along passionately, especially during fan favorites like ?Safe and Sound? and ?Below the Belt,? the latter of which saw the lead singer of Set It Off joining them on stage. Their fast-paced, high-energy set was both fun and refreshing, leaving the crowd buzzing with excitement.

Finally, the headline act, Set It Off, took the stage to thunderous applause. Having sold out their entire UK tour, the band has taken the country by storm. From the moment they kicked off with ?Wolf in Sheep?s Clothing [Re-Born Version],? they owned the stage, and the crowd was fully invested, screaming the lyrics back in unison. A truly magical moment came during ?The Haunting? when the house lights dimmed, and hundreds of fans lit up the venue with their phone torches, creating a sea of lights that swayed in time with the music. The band?s perspective from the stage must be an unforgettable experience every night. In ?Hypnotized,? Max and Cody swapped roles, with Max taking over drums while Cody sang. Other highlights of the night included ?Punching Bag,? ?N.M.E,? and ?Killer in the Mirror.?
