BASTILLE: Announce intimate instore show at Kingston’s Pryzm, 20th Oct

Bastille’s lead singer, Dan Smith, is set to unveil his latest collection of story songs in the upcoming album “&” (Ampersand) on October 25th. To give fans a sneak peek into this musical journey, Smith will be hosting intimate instore performances, including a stop at Kingston’s Pryzm with Banquet Records on October 20th.

“&” (Ampersand) is a captivating project that delves into the lives of intriguing personalities from history, mythology, and pop culture. The album is a result of creative collaborations with friends and family, intricate musical arrangements, and a contagious sense of musical liberation. The album features tracks like “Blue Sky & The Painter,” inspired by the renowned painter Edvard Munch, and his battle with depression. This uplifting song symbolizes finding light after a period of darkness.
