Friday: make sure to get there bright and early, because Elephant Tree are not to be missed! I foresee myself glued to the Electric Ballroom rail for the whole day (Stoned Jesus right before Elder, are you kidding me, I’m not moving), but y’all go checkout 10,000 Years and Servo. If hardcore/noise/black metal is more your thing, the Underworld is your place, with the whole day’s stage curated by Human Disease.
Saturday you’ll have to choose between a front row for Planet of Zeus and being fully cleansed by Amenra, between swaying to Maha Sohona in the Underworld and sharpening swords for CONAN. Meanwhile, the Dev’s got the most stoner/fantasy rock lineup ever with Verminthrone, Witchorious, Lust Ritual, Barbarian Hermit and Froglord one after the other.
Sunday, you better not go to sleep early, as it is the mighty Earth closing off the main stage at Electric Ballroom. It’ll be another packed day, so remember to choose your vibes wisely – do you need a wake up from Bilecaster or are you there for the desert bit in DesertFest and keen on This Summit Fever? Do you need something a bit more melodic and upbeat, like Dunbarrow, or something melancholic and reverberating, like Slift?
