ArcTanGent Festival Announces Another Wave of Bands

The eclectic ArcTanGent Festival returns for it’s eleventh year this August – to complement the already interesting mix of metal, math-rock and the uncharacterisable, they’ve revealed another host of amazing acts for the event.

Starting off with huge ATG fan favourites, the Leicester born, instrumental post rock band Maybeshewill, critically acclaimed Scottish and American mathcore band Frontierer, and recently reformed Welsh post-hardcore band Mclusky (who are releasing their new album ‘The World Is Still Here and So Are We‘ in May through Mike Patton’s Ipecac label), surely three exciting additions for the ArcTanGent regulars.

Joining them in this announcement are Irish post-rockers God Is An Astronaut (as an exclusive UK show), the hugely exciting (and recent Kerrang! cover stars) Atlanta Georgia sextet The Callous Daoboys (as a UK exclusive festival show) and a few HUGE silent disco sets from Nordic GiantsAK/DK, Yard and JOHN CXNNOR (performing an exclusive Doom Rave DJ-set).

On top of the bands, the brand new ArcTanGent Festival App has now been launched, which will allow access to the festival clash-finder, as well as be a great place to be the first to hear about announcements, discounts, merch drops and more. We also have a new artwork poster created by John Baizley from Baroness and a brand new shiny website (go see!).

ArcTanGent Festival will be taking place on the 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th of August 2025. Tickets for the event are on sale now, available here.

ArcTanGent Festival organiser and booker, James Scarlett says ArcTanGent Festival 2025 has truly become a diverse spectrum of extraordinary sounds that we’re all extremely proud of at ATG HQ. From ground-breaking live band silent disco sets to even more one-of-a-kind sets (Maybeshewill with accompanying strings will be something to behold), it’s really starting to feel like this summer’s most unique music festival is right around the corner.”

Maybeshewill add – “To mark our 20th year as a band we wanted to put together a special set that looked back on the whole of our career. Drawing on some rarely performed songs from our back catalogue, we’ll be joined by an ensemble of additional musicians who have played with us over the years. ArcTanGent has always felt like home to us, and it felt like the perfect setting to celebrate this milestone amongst friends.”
