Millie Manders and The Shutup Announce 2025 ‘Choose The Bear’ Tour & Charity Fundraiser

Following the success of their second album Wake Up, Shut Up, Work, which is out now, Millie Manders and The Shutup head out on the road this spring for the ‘Choose The Bear’ Tour. During this time, in January, they’ll be releasing the album’s fourth and final single, Me Too, with a music video and acoustic B-side. Also on the agenda is a tour fundraiser. A limited run of 500 Angry Ted Plushie bears will be sold, with £6 going to The Survivors Trust, Refuge, and Beyond The Streets respectively, per sale, to hopefully raise £1,000 each to support survivors of sexual and domestic abuses. Millie says, “We feel very strongly about releasing Me Too as a single due to the potential for using this song to further raise awareness and funds for survivors of rape and domestic abuse. We understand the song title is bold, but with the rising statistics of violence against women, it felt an important statement.

Wake Up, Shut Up, Work reached #3 on the UK Rock & Metal Album Chart and #6 on the UK Independent Album Chart. The follow-up to their debut Telling Truths, Breaking Ties, the album is out now on CD and vinyl via this link and at independent record stores, and all major streaming and download platforms.
