Skunk Anansie Announces 2025 UK Headline Tour

British rock icons Skunk Anansie are set to embark on a massive UK headline tour in Spring 2025, featuring a brand new production and new music on the horizon.

Formed in London in 1994, Skunk Anansie quickly gained recognition for their unique fusion of alternative, rock, and punk with a dub twist, reflecting their diverse cultural background. Known for their bold lyrics addressing social and political issues, as well as vocalist Skin’s unapologetic queer identity and high-fashion style, the band rose to prominence and achieved global success.

With acclaimed albums like ‘Paranoid & Sunburnt’, ‘Stoosh’, ‘Post Orgasmic Chill’, and ’25LIVE@25′, along with hit singles such as ‘Hedonism (Just Because You Feel Good)’ and ‘Weak’, Skunk Anansie has sold millions of records worldwide and headlined Glastonbury Festival in 1999. After a hiatus in the early 2000s, the band reunited in 2009, continuing to release new music and tour extensively.

Currently working on new music following recent singles ‘Piggy’ and ‘This Means War’, Skunk Anansie’s 2025 return promises to showcase their enduring power and dynamism as both recording artists and live performers.

Vocalist Skin expresses excitement about hitting the road again, stating, “We are really excited to be getting back on tour, doing what we love the most which is playing live with fire in our belly. This tour will be a completely brand new production and we can’t wait to share it with the UK.

The 14-date tour kicks off at London’s Roundhouse on March 29th and concludes at Guildford’s G Live on April 16th. Tickets will be available for fan pre-sale starting on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, followed by Spotify pre-sale on October 17, and general on-sale on October 18, 2024, at www.skunkanansie.com.

Skunk Anansie recently signed with Frontiers Label Group, launching the new imprint FLG dedicated to the visionary British rock group. Stay tuned for new music in 2025 and further announcements.
