Creeper, the headline band for Burn It Down Festival brought the festival to a close with a breath-taking performance in The Foundry, Torquay.

Creeper is a decade-old gothic rock band from Southampton that delivers theatrical performances that don’t disappoint the crowd. With meticulous attention to every performance detail, from makeup to their style, this was the perfect finale for this incredible festival. The band comprises 6 members, Will Gould, Ian Miles, Sean Scott, Hannah Greenwood, Jake Fogarty, and Laurie Pattison.

Creeper played a mix of songs such as “VCR” from their first ever released EP in 2014 to a few fan favourites from “Eternity, In Your Arms” and three songs from their latest album. Their stage presence is a mix of energetic yet melancholic which the audience responded to and the atmosphere was electric. Hannah’s backing vocals complement Will’s lead vocals delivery and the result is a unique performance.

I’ve been following this band since 2018 and it felt like a privilege to see them perform and photograph them in an intimate venue as they will only go further with their career. Definitely one to watch!
