Dead Fish, On A Hiding To Nothing, Fair Do’s and Blagged at New Cross Inn

From across the Atlantic to the South London venue, New Cross Inn, Dead Fish a prominent band in Brazil’s hardcore punk scene created a night of excitement among their many Brazilian fans present.

Forming as a band in 1991 through a shared interest in skateboarding, Dead Fish’s concerts create a platform for the band to speak out against social injustice and inequality in Brazil and across the world.

The New Cross Inn was the perfect venue for the bands’ blend of hardcore and 80’s skate punk. As I was photographing an audience member said to me:

‘This is my first punk concert and I’ve never seen energy like it!’

There was excitement in all of Dead Fish fans in the audience, some of whom were seeing the band for the second time after they performed the night previously in the Black Heart, Camden.

The night was opened by Blagged followed by Fair Do’s and On A Hiding To Nothing.
