Psychedelic blues-rock trio DeWolff concluded the UK leg of their Club Tour at The Garage, London on 18 April with the help of Silveroller.
Though small and intimate, The Garage was filled with dedicated fans of both bands – a rare occurrence where the crowd seemed to be split down the middle between support for either artist.

SILVEROLLER

Silveroller were up first, led by Liverpudlian vocalist Jonnie Hudson, and the venue was immediately alight with energy, both from the band giving it and the audience returning tenfold.
Five members on such a small stage, especially with two bands’ equipment, was no mean feat, but Jonnie still managed to thrash and dance about throughout the set, when he wasn’t playing the harmonica, of course.
Though short, their set was lively, packed with that seventies high-energy rock and roll that you’re familiar with, but with that modern twist. They’re a band to watch out for in future if the bluesy rock’n’roll vibes are up your alley.

DEWOLFF

Headliners DeWolff, a trio from the Netherlands, were joined onstage by two backing singers, helping to tie together the classic retro vibe that the audience loved.
Members Pablo and Luka van de Poel, with Robin Piso, create a unique easy-listening twist to the classic rock-n-roll. Though they didn’t have the high-energy stylings of their support, they made up for in intricate solos from each member, though after 3 solid minutes of instrumental, it did seem a bit excessive, the crowd loved it though!
Donning classic western attire, it’s clear this trio has found their niche, and if the audience is anything to go off, they’re excelling in it.
Even with their more subdued aura, they still captivated and interacted with the audience with the same amount of vigour.

If you’re into old-school classic rock’n’roll, then both of these bands should be added straight to your playlists.
