Electric Callboy at Slam Dunk Festival North 2025

It’s 7:45 pm at Slam Dunk Festival 2025 North as we head over to the Main Stage East Headliner slot for the highly anticipated German Electronic band Electric Callboy! But first, let’s make sure we have our Elevator Operator Checklist for gear checked off before we get submerged into the world of Electric Callboy:

Lights? Check

Sound System? Check

Pyro? Check

Confetti? Check

Are we ready? We Sure are!

Kicking off their high-powered set with 2024’s current opening song, “Elevator Operator” gets the ever-growing crowd into a frenzy of dance moves. With Confetti, Fire and fireworks, their powerful and well put together set welcomes in “MC Thunder II (Dancing Like A Ninja)“, and “Spaceman” with their fun nature, the crowd sings back every lyric with crowd surfers and mosh pits opening.

Electric Callboy Live at Slam Dunk Festival North 2025

We are treated to our first cover of the night of “Still Waiting” by Sum 41, which is rather fitting for this evening, with the one and only Frank Zummo from Sum 41 helping out Electric Callboy on this run of the tour on the drums. It goes down an absolute storm with fans very much getting into the classic song!

Having just released their brand new single and music video for “Revery” and it’s debut live performance being given to Slam Dunk south the day prior Leeds was in for a welcoming treat, With many fans in the audience already singing it word for word back to brand new single, ‘Revery’ is just the start to showing us with what is to come from the rest of this evenings set!

Which is swiftly moved into Electric Callboy’s second cover of this evening’s “Everytime We Touch”; they just know how to capture their fanbase and keep us all locked in. We keep the upbeat set list for one more song with “Pump It”; the electronic beats pulse through it. At the same time, the heavy, hard breakdowns get the audience up on their toes, working out alongside each other in the crowd (it wouldn’t be an Electric Callboy show if we didn’t get some mosh pits opened and crowd surfers over the front of the barrier).

Electric Callboy slow it down for us after that high-energy, pyrotechnics-filled start of the show change to a firepit on stage for a couple of acoustic songs starting with of their recent acoustic cover “Crawling” by Linkin Park, with Nico and Kevin’s duo Vocals working perfectly together for their cover of “I want it that way” by the Backstreet Boys. With that, we have completed our evening of covers by Electric Callboy and are full steam ahead into ‘Hurrikan’, showing us the fun yet extremely talented members of Electric Callboy.

Electric Callboy had a moment where they quickly stopped the show to help a fan out who had got injured within a few minutes. Slam Dunk had dealt with the situation, and the show continued with even more intensity and power! Each song came with costume changes to match the songs we love, and made that sight nod to how much Electric Callboy just love doing what they know how to do best, play loud music and just have fun with each other and with their adoring fans!

Ratatata”, which features vocals from Baby Metal, brought in a quick rain shower, but there was something quite special about thousands of fans dancing in the rain together to Electric Callboy. Finishing on their hyper and powerful set with ‘Tekko Train’ and ‘We Got The Moves’, which ties the perfect ending from tonight’s show! Every moment of Electric Callboy’s set was perfectly crafted and made into a set to remember.

Over all the show was an extremely high success. Not one person was left undancing and singing their hearts out, enjoying the company of each other! Electric Callboy’s sound was just on point, and each member of the band just seemed to be enjoying every second of their well-deserved and high-energy show!

With that, the Slam Dunk East stage has come to a close with high success. With Slam Dunk getting ready for its 20th anniversary next year, if it were anything like this one, it’s going to be another huge success! Electric Callboy will return in November for the world headline tour. Check out their latest single ‘Revery‘ which is available to stream and watch now!
