Rock Band Elliot Minor are back with their ‘Once In A Decade’ tour tonight. Metal Junkbox had the pleasure of returning to our teenage years to witness the York-based band return onstage. Alongside main tour support Call Me Amour and with extra special guests from Manchester’s very own Stay Safe.
Stay Safe
Up first, we have Stay Safe, the alternative pop-punk band from Manchester. The Bouncy lot just beam on stage having the absolute time of their lives. The heavy-filled audience sang back word for word of ‘Bombshell’, ‘Somehow’, and a cover of Avril Lavigne’s ‘Complicated,’ which shows the playful nature of the band. They had an amazing performance, and I look forward to seeing them again in the future!

Call Me Amour
You’re always going to have a fun time at a Call Me Amour show. The high energy they produce on stage is just infectious and fun, and they are always an entertaining band to watch live. Kicking off the set with ‘Good Day’, you can see the audience getting into the show with new and old fans moving along to the sound of the music. Call Me Amour has such incredible stage presences with each member performing a flawless set and loving every moment on stage. ‘Bloom’ is quite a hit with this evening’s crowd, with the sea of crowd just swaying back and forth. They are a growing force, and with their headline tour coming up at the end of the yea,r I look forward to seeing what they are going to produce!

Elliot Minor
Now for the best part of everyone’s evening, Elliot Minor, they are back and have been truly missed by their adoring fans. Speaking to a few fans on the barrier at tonight’s show, this is their first ever time getting to witness the Rock band onstage. For others, this has been a reunion they have been waiting for!
Kicking off their set with “Jessica”, you can physically hear the fans from behind you singing back every word to the band with every member of Elliot Minor beaming with joy from onstage, they have come out to show the world what we have been missing while they’ve been away! Their fun and fast set is carefully moulded and waiting for the sides, seeing the beaming faces of hands flying up and singing along is a beautiful sight to see. New song “How does it feel” is performed and just fits so perfectly into their classic songs, bringing the past and shaping their future perfectly for future releases! Other songs on tonight’s setlist included ‘The White One Is Evil’, ‘Time After Time’, ‘Solaris’, and finishing their performance on “Parallel Worlds” which is just the perfect ending for this evening set leaving fans waiting more and for some leaving them with a once in a decade experience but hopefully not for as long again.
