Fu Manchu ft Space Slug and Torus at the O2 Ritz Manchester 21/10/2024

California Rock Band Fu Manchu Takes over the 02 Ritz Manchester this evening with support coming from Torus and Spaceslug on The Return Of Tomorrow Tour 2024.

Torus

Torus the grunge-sounding rock band from Middlesbrough, is a three-piece band that takes to the stage. They play catchy songs with a soothing set, which gets the slow-growing crowd to warm up for the evening. The grunge, slow melody music forms with synchronous hair flicks performing to the audience and each other. They had an extremely tough crowd for their set but nothing the Torus couldn’t handle. I am looking forward to seeing Torus again!

SpaceSlug

Spaceslug is next on they take to the stage the slow-growing crowd slowly. Throughout their set slowly moving and swaying through the set during the set the guitar string broke and the other members slowly kept the rhythm while it was being fixed to make it a seamless set. Their stoner metal sounds keep the audience entertained.

Fu Manchu

The awaited moment for Fu Manchu has arrived. As soon as they enter the stage the filled-up room suddenly erupts into movement. Kicking off the set with ‘Eatin Dust’ hands are flying up and voices and singing back every word. The audience loves every moment and it sounds perfect you can see the passion the Fu Manchu fans have for them. ‘Hell On Wheels’ opens up the crowd into bouncing and singing the words back while the Fu Machu sounds incredible and perfectly timed. The Fu Manchu’s latest single ‘Hands Of The Zodiac’ from their double-released album ‘The Return Of Tomorrow’ is performed opening up the biggest circle pit to the evening show. Overall the entire evening was a true form of a rock show and finishing the evening with their cover of Blue Öyster Cult cover ‘Godzilla’ and ‘Boogie Van’
