In the underground depths of Manchester Club Academy on a long await evening is about to happen. GhØstkid are set to perform on their long awaited Hollywood Suicide Tour. Support coming from modern metalcore Set Your Sails and Within Destruction.

Set Your Sails

Set Your Sails comes out in full force. The German Modern Metalcore band takes control of the stage as soon as they hit the stage, filling the stage with their passionate presence. ‘Bad Company’ is performed to the crowd instantly gripping the barrier headbanging and moshing away. The set turns heavy with aggression being played which opens up the venue’s first moshpit of the evening and shoots fans into a clapping frenzy The amazing strong powerful vocals from lead singer Julies and perfectly created music. Set Your Sails made the perfect opener act for this evening’s event the final song of the set is ‘Fckoff’ leading the crowd into a back and forth fuck off follow along.

Within Destruction

The Slam Death Metal band Within Destruction takes place on stage the three-piece spreads out crossed the stage and takes full force getting the audience up and moving gripping the barriers and throwing up fists and devil horns along to the fast past Death Metal growls. Kicking off there set with ‘Survival‘ The perfect blegh and throaty growls get the audience moving along. Towards the end of their set Within Destruction summons for a wall of love (since they can’t request a wall of death) which is met at high force and gets everyone up and moving.

GhØstkid

GhØstkid enters the stage they are met with excitement Coming out to ‘Black Cloud‘ which got their fans up and moving back screaming back every word with excitement. GhØstkid from Germany. Strong vocals from lead singer Sushi (Sebastian) with a powerful stage presence give way to a massive mosh pit that forms around Jappo and Stanni climb into the crowd for. After originally planning their first UK tour back in 2021 and having it cancelled they made up for it tonight. Touring on The Hollywood Suicide Tour the rest of the set featured ‘S3X’, ‘Valerie’, and ‘Hollywood Suicide’ GhØstkid was exciting and such an amazing experience to watch perform every little detail of their show makes you feel so involved and such a special evening.
