The evening started with Pablo Miller who played us many bass heavy, super catchy pop songs including his recently released single ‘When I Didn’t Know’. ‘When I Didn’t Know’ has a very atmospheric sound, like it’s straight out of a movie.

His super catchy tunes set the energy level high, in anticipation of Huddy’s set. The upbeat drums paired perfectly with the guitar riffs throughout his set, and he kept the crowd entertained with his dancing. Every song pulling the crowd in further. The fans danced along, even handing him a set of heart-shaped glasses with his single ‘Hot Tub’ written across the lenses’ as he sang, filling the room with his incredible voice.

Then it was Huddy‘s turn to take to the stage, kicking off his set with unreleased song ‘The One’ before jumping into his recently released ‘Addicted To You’, ‘21’ and ‘Love Bites’ off his EP released earlier this year. From the get-go, he brought the energy to the stage and the fans reciprocated it ten-fold.

Starting off with his newer work before taking us back to his previous body of work, 2021 album ‘Teenage Heartbreak’ really showcased how far his sound has progressed. As someone that was a big fan of this album years ago, it was cathartic to hear live, but I am an even bigger fan of his rebrand and can’t wait to see where it takes him in the future. During the VIP Q&A, he mentioned that he has been listening to a lot of Linkin Park and Deftones recently as he works on new music, and I’m looking forward to potentially hearing some more heavier sounding music like ‘Cyanide’ featuring Palaye Royale.

This was hands down one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to at this venue, the energy, atmosphere, and lights were on point. The crowd did not stop jumping and singing along all night. Even when the mic cut out during ‘Mugshot’, it didn’t matter because the crowd sang even louder to fill in for Huddy. His appreciation for his fans was evident as he interacted with them throughout the night.

Having just finished both a US and EU support tour, hopefully he’ll be back soon with his own headline tour and new music!
