Lake Malice played on the Saturday Main stage at Torquay’s Burn It Down Festival (The Foundry). They smashed their set and were my personal favorite of the weekend. Lake Malice’s music is a blend of hyper-pop and metal. The contrast of Alice’s metal screams and her hyper-pop clean vocals gives this band a unique style of music.
Both Blake and Alice have a high-energy, audience-engaging stage presence, The friendship between them makes them an incredible duo! It was their third time performing at Burn It Down, and they knew their audience. The Highlight of the set was during Lake Malice’s final song of the set ‘Blossom’, In which Alice came off stage and went into the crowd and managed to sing while crowd-surfing, putting her new wireless microphone to work!
