Punk Rock Factory ft Crushed By Waves and Wolves of Glendale at Stylus Leeds 15-10-24

Taking over Leeds Stylus tonight is Welsh Punk Rock Band Punk Rock Factory. Support coming from Manchester Rock Alternative band Crushed By Waves and Comedy Band From Glendale CA, Wolves Of Glendale for a magical Punk Rock filled evening.

Crushed By Waves

Manchester’s Alternative Rock band Crushed By Waves comes out to kick off the punk rock party. Their energy fills the room which is fastly filling up for the evening’s show. Their ecstatic energy warms up the room for the evening’s show and The four piece fills the stage beautifully. Getting the crowd to clap along and have won over the punk rock fans within seconds with a range of headbanging and movement teaching the very young crowd what the true meaning of a rock show is. With the audience being so young and full of first time viewers it was a strong and fun start to the evening’s events.

Wolves of Glendale

The comedy band Wolves Of Glendale gives a huge change from the opener Crash By Waves but gives the evenings its pre-taste of humour. The well timed jokes and cleverly written lyrics worked well within songs clearly written for the over 18s to understand but leaving the children with their pure innocence humour. The techno simple style does the band wonders and is more like spoken word at some parts it keeps the audience entertained. At one point a Young boy in the crowd on the stairs caught the band’s attention that led to the audience chanting ‘Toby’ which really made the night special. The Band does a few original songs throughout their set and a few mashed up covers during their mixing up songs sections such as Bowling for soup in the song of Ace Of Spades, Slipknot duality with Dolly Parton 9 to 5.
