The Zac Schulze Gang / Bad Pennies at The Grace, London, 2025

After a hugely successful 2024 touring abroad and winning the UK Blues Emerging Band of the Year award, The Zac Schulze Gang is back in London, first stop of their UK tour, for a sold out gig at The Grace. The power trio, formed in 2020, has their own spin of Blues Rock and will be releasing their debut album later this year.

The night kicked off with Bad Pennies, a seasoned blues rock act that’s been around since 2015, playing some classic tunes like Cream’s “I Feel Free” and Deep Purple’s “Lazy”, and also some of their own original songs.
With incredible performance by vocalist Adam Walker, the group managed to get the crowd singing along to the classics, getting everyone excited for what was coming next.

As soon as frontman Zac Schulze took the stage, it was clear this wouldn’t be your average blues rock gig. With a very energetic performance and incredible technique both in vocals and guitar, Zac manages to get everyone’s attention quickly. The rest of the gang also deserves high praise, with Ant Greenwell on bass and Ben Schulze on drums both giving incredible performances and keeping the audience engaged.

Judging by tonight’s performance, The Zac Schulze Gang is shaping up to have another amazing year and we can’t wait to hear their first album as soon as it comes out.
