BLACKGOLD Collaborates with Benji Webbe on New Single

BLACKGOLD, the masked misfits of the music scene, have joined forces with Skindred’s frontman, Benji Webbe, on their latest single. Known for their unique blend of metal and hip-hop, Blackgold puts their spin on the classic Cypress Hill track, “Insane in the Brain.”

Benji Webbe shared his excitement about the collaboration, stating, “What’s not to love about BLACKGOLD, masks, nu metal, and Cypress Hill? I was thrilled to be a part of it. This tune is a rock club anthem that will elevate any Saturday night to new heights.”

In 2022, BLACKGOLD teamed up with Jason Butler of Fever333 for a cover of “I Ain’t Goin’ Out Like That,” a fan favorite in their live performances. This latest release continues to pay homage to hip-hop icons Cypress Hill and will be featured on an upcoming mixtape dedicated to the group.

Spookz from BLACKGOLD expressed their enthusiasm for the project, saying, “After the success of our first Cypress Hill track, we wanted to create an old-school mixtape as a tribute to Cypress Hill. The recording process with Benji was fantastic, and the energy is evident in the final mix.”
