Progressive Metalcore Band The Number Twelve Looks Like You Releases New Single after 5 years

The renowned New Jersey-based metalcore band, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, has unveiled their latest single, “Eyes On The Fireworks,” along with an accompanying music video directed by Jaakko Manninen’s Wordup.Video. The track is now available for streaming online via Equal Vision Records.

In this politically-charged single, frontman Jesse Korman delves into the complexities of American society, questioning the notion of freedom amidst ongoing issues such as healthcare, housing, and gun violence. Despite these challenges, the band urges listeners to keep their focus on the fireworks, symbolizing the celebrations that often overshadow underlying societal issues.

Formed in 2001, The Number Twelve Looks Like You has established a unique presence in the heavy music scene with their blend of mathcore, grindcore, and experimental elements. Following a hiatus in 2010, the band made a triumphant return in 2016, captivating audiences with their genre-defying sound and innovative approach to songwriting.

With the addition of new members Michael DeMarco and Cody McCorry, The Number Twelve Looks Like You has experienced a creative rebirth, reflected in their latest single, “Eyes On The Fireworks.” This track serves as a testament to the band’s growth and evolution, both personally and musically.
