Formada na Estônia em meados de 2013 a banda Tankist lançou recentemente o seu single “The Gulag Archipelago” no passado dia 7 de junho.

A banda apresenta uma sonoridade calcada no thrash metal old school , embora consiga inserir muita identidade e modernidade como podemos ver em claramente em toda a discografia do Tankist.
