The Body summon dubby soundsystem heaviness on new single “Removal”

The Body is set to unveil their latest album, “The Crying Out of Things,” on November 8th through Thrill Jockey. The band has already teased fans with the powerful single “Removal,” showcasing a blend of industrial noise and dub influences that create a unique and intense listening experience.

The upcoming album draws on The Body’s diverse range of inspirations, incorporating elements like hypnotic drum patterns, haunting vocal samples, and explosive noise segments. Guest vocalist Ben Eberle adds a raw edge with his intense vocals, enhancing the track’s dynamic energy.

Known for their innovative approach to music, The Body has consistently pushed boundaries by experimenting with unconventional techniques and incorporating a wide array of sounds into their work. “The Crying Out of Things” is a culmination of their groundbreaking style, combining distorted textures, intricate arrangements, and emotive performances to convey a dark yet captivating range of emotions.

In addition to the album release, The Body is currently on tour in Europe alongside collaborator Dis Fig. The tour includes performances at renowned festivals like Unsound Festival, Le Guess Who?, and Amplifest, offering fans a chance to experience their electrifying live shows.
