Blind Channel Announces Documentary and Hiatus

Blind Channel, the metal outfit known for their infamous boyband cover ‘EVERYBODY (BLOODBROS BACK)’, is set to release their documentary titled Blind Channel: After Dark Side on December 16, 2024. The documentary, named after their hit single ‘Dark Side’, will offer an inside look into the band’s journey towards global success. Spanning five episodes, it will delve into the challenges of life on the road and the creative process behind their music, all while striving for international recognition. The series will be available on Yle Areena (Yle’s VOD-platform) for six months worldwide, until June 16, 2025.

Following the release of the documentary, Blind Channel will be taking a break at the end of 2024 to refocus and plan for the future. The band expressed their gratitude to fans for their support over the years and hinted at the uncertainty of their return, emphasizing the need to step back from the limelight for introspection.

The Finnish band rose to international fame after their success in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021, where they represented Finland with the song ‘Dark Side’ and achieved sixth place. This marked a turning point in their career, leading to a dedicated global fanbase and numerous live performances across Europe. Their albums, including Lifestyles of the Sick & Dangerous and Exit Emotions, have been well-received for their high energy and unique sound, solidifying Blind Channel as one of Finland’s most promising musical exports.

Stay tuned for the release of Blind Channel: After Dark Side in December and catch the band live on their upcoming UK tour with Italian goth metal icons Lacuna Coil this October.
