SLAYER ANNOUNCES EXCLUSIVE RETURN TO THE U.K.

After over four decades at the forefront of thrash metal, SLAYER returns to the U.K. for two massive headline shows this July. These will be the band’s first U.K. appearances in six years and their only European headline shows in 2025.

Set for Cardiff’s Blackweir Fields on July 3rd and London’s Finsbury Park on July 6th, these events mark the largest U.K. headline shows in the band’s history. More than just concerts, they celebrate over 40 years of chaos, speed, and aggression that defined a genre and influenced generations. Fans can expect a career-spanning set, unmatched stage production, and a night of pure thrash intensity.

Five powerful guests will join SLAYER for these two exclusive shows:

  • AMON AMARTH: Melodic death metal giants bringing Norse fury and epic anthems.
  • ANTHRAX: Thrash legends returning with their high-energy classics.
  • MASTODON: Delivering their signature blend of heavy sludge and complex melodies.
  • HATEBREED: Hardcore icons set to stir the pit with raw power and defiance.
  • NECKBREAKKER: Rising newcomers promising relentless brutality.
  • DATES:
  • Thu 3rd July – CARDIFF, Blackweir Fields
  • Sun 6th July – LONDON, Finsbury Park

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 7th at 10 AM via slayer.net

This announcement follows the news that SLAYER will join the lineup for BLACK SABBATH’s final show, Back To The Beginning, on July 5th at Villa Park in Birmingham. This will be just the third time SLAYER shares the stage with BLACK SABBATH, following Ozzfest appearances in 1998 and 2004.

SLAYER also recently confirmed their return to Canada for the first time since 2019, headlining the FEQ Festival in Quebec on July 11th. Later in the year, the band will headline Louder Than Life on September 18th in Louisville, Kentucky.

Fans can also dive into the band’s legacy through their digital museum, Slaytanic Verses. Featuring rare memorabilia, stories, and never-before-seen artefacts, the first exhibition “Live Assaults: 1981 Through Today” is now open. Explore the museum and exclusive SLAYER collectables here.
