British alt-rock icons Wolf Alice have announced an extensive headline tour to support their upcoming fourth studio album, The Clearing, set for release on 29 August 2025. Spanning 43 dates, this will be their biggest tour to date, taking them across North America, Europe, and the UK. Ahead of the tour, the band will appear at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend on 24 May and Glastonbury Festival on 29 June.
For the UK arena dates, £1 from every ticket will go to support grassroots music venues.
This tour follows the release of lead single “Bloom Baby Bloom”, alongside a video directed by Colin Solal Cardo (watch/listen [HERE]). Marking the band’s first new material in three years, the song is a powerful introduction to The Clearing — a bold, electrifying take on heavy rock with a sharp lyrical focus on transformation and identity.
“I wanted a rock song, something performance-driven where I could sing like Axl Rose — but make it about being a woman,” says frontwoman Ellie Rowsell. “In the past, I used the guitar as a kind of shield, to avoid the ‘girl singer’ stereotype. But this time I put the guitar down and focused on my voice as an instrument in its own right.”
The video draws inspiration from Bob Fosse and All That Jazz, featuring a high-energy routine choreographed by Ryan Heffington (known for work with Euphoria, Sia, and Kenzo), with Ellie leading a group of dancers in a stylised rock performance.
Written in Seven Sisters, London, and recorded in Los Angeles with Greg Kurstin (Grammy-winning producer), The Clearing reflects a band fully in command of their sound — confident, emotionally charged, and creatively fearless.

From their early days in North London to becoming one of the most acclaimed British bands of their generation, Wolf Alice continue to evolve. The Clearing follows a trajectory that began with the visceral energy of My Love Is Cool, the Mercury Prize-winning Visions of a Life, and the haunting introspection of Blue Weekend, which earned them a BRIT Award for Best Group. Now, over a decade in, Wolf Alice stand taller than ever.
