Winona Fighter Releases New Single and Music Video “R U FAMOUS”

Winona Fighter has released a new single, “R U FAMOUS”, along with a brand new music video. The song is an aggressive message for social climbers and hangers-on, and is taken from their debut album “My Apologies To The Chef”, which is set to be released on February 14th via Rise Records.

Watch the music video for “R U FAMOUS”:

“‘R U Famous’ is about someone who always tries to see what they can get out of people doing well in their music career,” shares frontwoman Coco Kinnon. “It’s a situation I think unfortunately happens to a lot of up-and-comers, and something that has happened to us via a person we thought was a friend.”

The music video for “R U FAMOUS” was created by We’re All Gonna Die Productions, and features the band embracing a Y2K aesthetic.

“We’ve always said ‘if we REALLY start leaning into a Y2K aesthetic then that’s how you’ll know we’re just going for a money grab, So what better way to represent a slimy person than to be that money grab!”

Winona Fighter will be hitting the road on their headlining Yes, Chef Tour in the US this February/March, before heading to the UK in May for the Slam Dunk festival. They will play at Slam Dunk South on May 24th and Slam Dunk North on May 25th.
