Amelia Ford is a pleasant surprise, she released her debut album Wide Wide Open last year which was praised by both critics and the public, and has just released her latest single "Hate Her" on September 1st.
We're dealing with a songwriter with her hands full, who manages to insert huge doses of her own identity, with powerful and extremely flexible vocals that make it easy to be captivated by her entire body of work. At times we can notice a tone similar to Alanis Morissete's, but far from any comparison, not least because the styles of the two are somewhat different.
The single is already available on the main digital platforms, check it out and you certainly won't regret it.
