Tonight the Finnish monsters’ of rock Lordi takes over Manchester Academy 2 with tour support crash landed aliens Sick N’ Beautiful on the First Deadition.
Sick N’ Beautiful
Sick N’ Beautiful invades the stage in Manchester this evening kicking off their set with ‘(Human) It’s Overrated’ they are loud and have come out to party in style with their unique and incredible style blend right into the evenings set. The five piece who crash landed in Italy Rome fill up the front of the stage but make it work perfectly for a high powerful performance. Their horror, alternative, sci-fi style just works so well. They sound incredible throughout their performance with simple costume changes throughout the set along with the music to make it a well rounded performance. Other songs on the setlist included ‘Drop It To The B’, ‘Tonight We Go To War’ and ‘New Witch 666’.

Lordi
Finnish rock band Lordi takes to the stage to celebrate the release of their nineteenth studio Limited Deadition. The stage which I believe has artwork inspired by H.R.Giger covers the stage. The only thing missing is some toy boxes which would have gone along nicely to play with the Limited Deadition Lordi come out to ‘Legends Are Made of Clichés’ which gets the audience up and moving. ‘Girls Go Chopping’ brings out the blood filled axe which covers the crowd. The tiny theartics which Lordi pop throughout their set just adds nicely to the rock music which the crowd has always adored them for. During the photo op for the photographers it is lovely to see how Lordi interacts with the audience and photographers with someone from the crowd shouting out “How are you?” to Mr Lordi which replies to him saying how he’s dying for a cigarette but otherwise doing fine. Throughout the rest of the set the audience are treated to ‘Calling Of The Wedding’, ‘Blood Red sandman’, ‘Hellizbeth’ and eurovision song which won in 2006 ‘Hard Rock Hallelujah’ with fans singing, clapping and dancing along to every word Lordi show no signs of slowing down.
